The myth of humankind’s destruction.
The story of the destruction of mankind is considered one of the mythical matters imagined and assumed by ancient Egyptian thought, as it imposes the possibility that people rebel against the Creator God and try to undermine him and have fun with him in the simplicity and even mockery of him. With the heinous act of rebelling against him,
The mythical decimation of human beings is one of the stories that have spread greatly in the ancient Egyptian belief throughout its ages. It was one of the classic corpses on the walls of many royal tombs, especially in the era of the modern state, in the tombs of the kings of the 18 dynasties, and the 19 such as the tomb of (Tutankhamun) and the tombs of (City I, Ramses II, Ramses III, Ramses VI).
And the legend begins with referring to the ageing of the god (Ra), the great sun god, the master of the gods and their creator, and how the old age and old age had attained from him, and when people saw what their god’s state had reached, they began to mock him and mock him, so the soul of the god (Ra) affected much of that. He was saddened by the deeds of heinous human beings, and became angry with great anger, and was determined to punish people and work to destroy them.
So he summoned the gods and gathered them to consult in the destruction of these vaunted people. This meeting was a secret, but the people knew about the meeting and realized its purpose, so they fled to the desert, believing that this is the best solution to escape from the punishment of God (Ra).
And the god (Ra) began to consult the gods about what was issued by the people and how the way to respond in a manner befitting his position as the master of the gods and the creator of the universe so that he could restore his status and dignity among his creatures, so he addressed the goddess (Nut) as one of the oldest gods and those who represent them in their council. She indicated that He sends his daughter and appointed him (Hathor) to be punished for their actions, and the advice met the same God (Ra). He favoured the idea, so he ordered his daughter (Hathor) to summon and presented her with the order of the meeting of the Council of the Gods and told her about her mission, so (Hathor) was happy about the matter a lot for (Ra) confidence And how she will rehabilitate her father, the master of the gods.
(Hathor) proceeded to implement the order of her father (Ra), so she turned to the goddess (Sekhmet) and left all the beautiful qualities that she was associated with to carry out her mission (such as beauty, motherhood and love).
There is a clear indication for choosing (Hathor) specifically without the gods to inflict that punishment as (the sun) and considering that humans have fled to the desert, which the sun never sets.
Hathor carried out the punishment with the utmost cruelty and severity, bearing in mind the dignity of the king of the gods and the insult of her father who created humankind, so revenge was terrible. The annihilation began to reap large numbers of people. At that point, God (Ra) began to retreat from his opinion and his desire for revenge. He realized that Human beings are on their way to perish and have received the necessary punishment and that they are in the beginning and at the end of his creation who created them.
So he sent the god (Shu), the god of the air, to his daughter (Hathor), represented by the goddess (Sekhmet), to tell her that her father (Ra) had withdrawn his position towards humans and ordered her to return, but (Hathor) refused to return and told him that she was determined to continue carrying out her punishment with humans. To the end, matters worsened in the assembly of the gods, and God (Ra) took a ploy to force her to return and leave revenge on humans, and the gods advised him to bring a red substance from (Fentin) present Aswan, which is a narcotic substance and mix it with beer and put it in the place that it is against Hathor), and immediately God commanded (Ra) to implement this and thousands of jars filled with that substance were brought and mixed with large quantities of beer and put in the place where (Hathor) would go, and indeed you would find (Hathor) this mixture and drink from it thinking that it is human blood She gets drunk and loses consciousness, and God (Shu) carries her and takes her where the god (Ra) is, and after she wakes up (Hathor) she gets angry and goes to the country of Nubia and stays with her, and God (Ra) sends the god (Shu) to bring her, but she refuses to return, but God (Ra) Ra) returns the ball and sends to it the god (Jahuti), the god of arithmetic, writing and knowledge, who succeeds in Convincing her to return, provided that the temples be erected for her and that her place is on the front of (Ra) depicted in a vivid image that protects him.

If the son of Adam dies, his work is interrupted except for three: ongoing charity, the knowledge that benefits him, or a good boy who prays for him.
