We will talk about the great Queen Ahhotep, the woman who received the highest military honour for her participation in the liberation of Egypt from the Hyksos.
Queen Iahhotep, the meaning of her name (the happy moon/the happy moon/the moon of time), is the daughter of King Seqenen Ra the first and the great queen Taty Sheri, the wife of King Seqenen Ra the second and the mother of King Kamose and Ahmose, the family of war against the Hyksos (dynasty 17)
The great Queen Ahahhotep is credited with liberating Egypt from the Hyksos, so her father died, and then her husband died in the war against the Hyksos. In the days of grief, her mother, Queen Teshri, said to her (Do not cry for your father or husband, but cry for your country. Tell your son you will not be my son until you liberate my country) She did not surrender and preserved Egypt from collapse but encouraged her son Kames to complete what he had started and to liberate Egypt. She sent him to war with the army unless she lost him in the war.
And since she is a brave queen and has a wise personality, she was convinced that if she fell into grief for them, she would not complete what she had started.
And she sent her youngest son, Ahmose, who was 19 years old, to the war as well. She was not afraid of losing him to liberate the country. After that, she gave him a dagger and said to him: (This is the dagger your father died while he was defending his land, and after him, your brother Camus died and the dagger in his hand. Take this dagger and liberate the holy land of God with it. or die while it is in your hand)
She was also found on the battlefield, carried the axe of wars, took care of the soldiers and the return of the fugitives, and spread the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of the army.
And after the end of the war, Ahmose gave his mother Queen Ahhotep the highest and a military medal (the golden fly), and this was due to his mother’s favour in liberating the country, as she was the one who lost her father, husband and son and did not receive it. We must always remember what she gave to liberate our country.
Thus, we knew the origin of the authentic Egyptian woman, with her courage and devotion to her country, and from here, we must thank our great army for protecting us, and this for thousands of years. We thank every mother who raised and raised her children to protect Egypt.
