Our Representative will pick you up for a transfer to the train station so that you will take a sleeper train to Cairo; the journey will take all night. Starting in the morning with the amazing Pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world that have survived to the present day, guarded by the Mysterical statue (The Sphinx).
Our tour guide will take you on the greatest of Egypt’s sites on a full-day trip upon your morning arrival to Cairo.
Then you’ll visit The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, founded in 1902. Over 120,000 works of art from the Greco-Roman and ancient Egyptian eras are on display there, including the incredible collection of the young king Tut Ankh Amon. The tour ends with a visit to Khan el Khalili Bazaar, one of Cairo’s most popular tourist destinations, and a stroll through the thousand-year-old “el Moez” street, an open-air museum for Islamic Buildings painted with a variety of designs and colors.
Khan el Khalili was originally a mausoleum for the Fatimid Caliphs, el Zaafran. During the Ottoman era, it developed into a neighborhood populated largely by Turks. The area has been transformed into a bazaar with numerous restaurants, cafes selling Arabic coffee and hookahs, and souvenir shops.
