Our Representative will pick you up from your hotel to begin your Alexandria Day Tour. The first stop should be at Pompay’s Pillar. It was built near the end of the fourth century to commemorate Emperor Diocletian. It was previously part of the Serapis Temple, a beautiful building on par with the Soma and Caesarean. The next stop is the Catacombs, the largest Roman Cemetery, and a three-tiered underground tunnel system. After refueling at a local Alexandria restaurant, we’ll visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Qaitbay Citadel, constructed on the former location of Alexandria’s pharaohs (the “Light House”). At last, our Representative will take you back to your Alexandria hotel.
