This photo was taken during the flooding of the Nile River before the construction of the High Dam, and it shows a partially submerged tree and the water approaching unsteadily from the temples in the foreground and the pyramids in the Egyptian Khedive Giza (beginning of the last century) in the year 1900 AD.
